We’ll pay half your rent while you build.

Dream Saver is an offer for eligible first home buyers who are currently renting and building a new home with Eight Homes. Eight Homes will contribute 50% of your weekly rent, up to $275 per week, from slab stage until 30 days after your Occupancy Permit is issued.

Eight Homes will contribute half of your weekly rent, up to a maximum of $275 per week. For example: If your rent is $420 per week, your Dream Saver contribution would be $210 per week. Or, if your rent is $650 per week, your Dream Saver contribution would be capped at $275 per week.

Your total benefit will depend on your weekly rent and the actual duration of your build.

For example: weekly rent of $650 with a 26-week construction period would provide a total Dream Saver benefit of $7,150. Or weekly rent of $420 with a 29-week construction period would provide a total Dream Saver benefit of $6,090.

These examples are indicative only. Actual payments will be calculated according to your eligible weekly rent and actual construction period.

Dream Saver contributions begin from slab stage, when the first stage claim payment is due.

Payments are made monthly in arrears by direct bank transfer, generally by the seventh day of each calendar month.

Payments continue until 30 days after the Occupancy Permit for your new home is issued. Dream Saver is not limited to a fixed number of payment weeks.

If your build is delayed, your eligible Dream Saver contributions will continue until 30 days after your Occupancy Permit is issued. These contributions are separate from any liquidated damages that may be payable under your building contract. Any entitlement to liquidated damages will be assessed separately in accordance with the terms of that contract.

There is no fixed cap on the total amount you may receive and no fixed maximum number of payment weeks. The weekly contribution is limited to 50% of your rent, up to $275 per week. Your total benefit will depend on your eligible weekly rent and the actual duration of construction.

Yes. Dream Saver is only available to eligible first home buyers building their first home with Eight Homes. It is not available to investors or second and subsequent home buyers.

No. Dream Saver is only available for eligible greenfield builds within the Eight Homes build zone. It is not available for knockdown rebuild or brownfield projects.

Yes. To qualify for Dream Saver, your finance must be arranged through Inovayt and is subject to finance approval.

Your signed residential lease agreement provides evidence that you are currently renting and allows the team to verify your weekly rent when reviewing your application.

No. Submitting the form begins the application process but does not automatically secure or confirm the offer. Dream Saver is subject to eligibility, finance approval through Inovayt, payment of the initial $888 registration fee during the campaign period and availability within the first 30 approved customers.

Eligible customers must pay the initial $888 registration fee between 30 October and 13 December 2026. The offer is limited to the first 30 approved customers and remains subject to the full terms and conditions.

No. Dream Saver cannot be used in conjunction with another offer.

Payments will be made monthly in arrears by direct bank transfer to your nominated bank account. Once your application is approved, you will be asked to provide your bank account details through the required secure process.

If you are already speaking with an Eight Homes Sales Consultant, your application and rental agreement will be sent to the appropriate team for review.
